The Maker Kid Award is one of our many ways of recognizing excellence and enthusiasm in learning and education. 
 

These awards will recognize the values of artistry, circuitry and craftsmanship which are becoming a permanent part of 21st-century learning skills in today's classrooms. 

 

Criteria

Criteria to be recognized as a Maker Kid at our annual event will consider students who have explored creating, tinkering with old technology, inventing new things and were driven by:

1. Purpose

2. Enthusiasm

3. Contribution

4. Creativity

5. Collaboration

Honorees will be announced and recognized at our annual Miami Schools Fair in October 2019
