ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Graduados lanzando birretes

The Pre-College Parent Forum is not a traditional seminar or sales event. It is a private, conversation-led gathering created for parents who want real insight, not noise.

This evening brings together a carefully selected group of trusted education professionals to help families understand the academic, emotional, and strategic decisions that shape the college admissions process.

It is designed to reduce stress, offer clarity, and create a sense of community — so you leave feeling supported, not overwhelmed.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN

By the end of the evening, you will:

  • Understand what truly matters in today’s college admissions landscape

  • Learn how to support your teen without adding pressure

  • Gain clarity on timelines, priorities, and next steps

  • Recognize the difference between strategy and stress

  • Feel more confident in your role as a parent guide

  • Connect with other families navigating the same stage

WHO THIS IS FOR?

This forum is for parents of students in 9th–12th grade who:

  • Are beginning to think seriously about college

  • Want guidance without fear-based messaging

  • Value thoughtful conversation and community

  • Want to feel informed, not overwhelmed

Exclusive Take-Home Resource

All attendees will receive a Pre-College Parent Activation Roadmap, a practical, grade-by-grade guide to help you understand what to focus on each year — academically, emotionally, and strategically.

HOSTED BY VICKY KENNY

I created this forum not only as a community organizer, but as a mom of a child in 11th grade, currently navigating this journey myself.

I know how overwhelming these years can feel — the timelines, the questions, the pressure, and the constant sense of “Are we doing this right?”

This stage is not only about applications or test scores. It is about guiding our children through a major life transition, while also learning how to trust, support, and let them grow.

My intention for this evening is simple: to create a space where parents feel informed, supported, and connected — and leave with clarity instead of stress.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.

This is a limited-capacity, invite-only gathering to preserve the intimacy of the experience.
